Author- Riley Sager Summer Read. Mystery. What better setting for a summer read than summer camp! In The Last Time I Lied, there are two plots to be solved-- one from teenage camper Emma, the other when Emma returns 12 years later as an art instructor counselor to put her past to rest. Of course nothing is put to rest, there would be no suspense that way! The story is engaging with a few plot twists, some predictable but others that are not. The characters come to life, you can visualize the teenage girls... I think I know a couple of them, different names of course! It's a fun and lightly suspenseful book to read. Perfect for summer. |
