Holcombe Book Club
The Holcombe Book Club membership is by invitation to keep the group to a manageable size of around 12. The club meets monthly and reads 10 books a year as a group. Meetings have continued virtually during the pandemic and this option may also be used when Wisconsin winters make travel difficult.
The club has been meeting regularly since 2006. Books are recommended by the group, with selection based on availability and interest. The club has read nonfiction, classics, bestsellers, science fiction, mysteries, historical fiction, local authors-- the goal is to stretch our thinking and create great discussion. 2021 Reading ListFebruary- Educated, by Tara Westover
